Description: The Ministry of Privatisation in Islamabad, Pakistan, is currently seeking qualified professionals to join their team for the positions of Legal Advisor and Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the government's efforts in the field of privatization and play a crucial role in shaping economic policies and decision-making processes.
- Legal Advisor: As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and guidance to the Ministry of Privatisation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Offering legal advice on privatization matters, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including legislation, regulations, and policies.
- Representing the Ministry in legal proceedings and coordinating with external legal counsel, if necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required, while a Master's or higher degree in Law (LLM) would be advantageous.
- Admittance to the bar association and a valid license to practice law.
- Extensive experience as a legal advisor or lawyer, preferably in the field of commercial law, privatization, or government agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of legal principles, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial Analyst: As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing insights for the Ministry's privatization projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting financial analysis, including financial modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Evaluating investment proposals and conducting due diligence on potential projects.
- Assessing the financial viability and profitability of privatization initiatives.
- Preparing financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
- Monitoring and analyzing economic and market trends that impact privatization activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, etc.) is desirable.
- Proven experience as a financial analyst or a similar role, preferably in investment banking, financial consulting, or government organizations.
- Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and research skills.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment evaluation techniques, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
