Job Description:
The National University of Modern Languages (NUML) is seeking a skilled and experienced cook for its Regional Campus in Mirpur, AJK. The cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the faculty and staff of the university.
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare meals according to established recipes
- Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen
- Manage inventory of food and supplies
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and storage
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Primary or middle level education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cooking and kitchen management
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Physical ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot environment
