Description: Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan SMBZAN Institute of Cardiology, Quetta is seeking applications for various technical positions. The institute invites applications from highly qualified and experienced candidates for the positions of Technician Cardiac, Technician Cath Lab, Technician Cath Lab Radiology, Supervisor Cath Lab, Technician Operation Theater OT, Technician Pacing Lab, Technician Anesthesia, Technician Cardiac Rehab, Technician ECG, Technician CCU, Technician Echo, Technician ETT and Technician ICU. The candidates must have an intermediate or bachelor's degree in the relevant field with relevant experience. The job is full-time and the last date to apply is 26th April 2023.
The Technician Cardiac will be responsible for performing routine and specialized procedures related to diagnostic and interventional cardiology, such as preparing patients for procedures, assisting in the performance of procedures, and monitoring patients during and after procedures. The Technician Cath Lab will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures, such as x-ray machines, monitors, and other imaging devices. The Technician Cath Lab Radiology will be responsible for assisting in the performance of radiologic procedures, such as preparing patients for procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic equipment.
The Supervisor Cath Lab will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cath lab staff, including technicians and nurses, and ensuring that procedures are performed safely and efficiently. The Technician Operation Theater OT will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, assisting surgeons during procedures, and monitoring patients during and after surgery. The Technician Pacing Lab will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiac pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.
The Technician Anesthesia will be responsible for preparing and administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures, monitoring patients during procedures, and managing anesthesia-related complications. The Technician Cardiac Rehab will be responsible for developing and implementing exercise and rehabilitation programs for patients with cardiac conditions. The Technician ECG will be responsible for performing electrocardiogram tests to evaluate heart function.
The Technician CCU will be responsible for monitoring and caring for critically ill patients in the cardiac care unit, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The Technician Echo will be responsible for performing echocardiogram tests to evaluate heart function. The Technician ETT will be responsible for performing exercise stress tests to evaluate heart function. The Technician ICU will be responsible for monitoring and caring for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
