Job Description: Quality Assurance Engineer at Election Commission of Pakistan ECP
The Election Commission of Pakistan ECP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all software and hardware systems used by the ECP are fully functional, reliable, and meet the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be expected to work closely with other members of the ECP's IT department to ensure that all systems are tested thoroughly and any issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and hardware systems.
- Identify and document software defects and hardware malfunctions, and work with developers and other stakeholders to resolve them.
- Analyze user requirements and provide input on design and usability improvements.
- Work with the IT team to ensure that all systems meet the ECP's quality standards and are fully functional and reliable.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and results to management.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the software development industry.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in software testing tools and programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
