Job Summary: National Transmission & Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) is offering a temporary job opportunity for the position of Chief Internal Auditor (CIA). The job was advertised in the Dunya newspaper on 31st July 2023. The last date for application submission is 15th August 2023.
Responsibilities: As the Chief Internal Auditor (CIA), you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the internal audit function of NTDC. Your main duties will include:
- Developing and implementing internal audit plans and strategies.
- Conducting risk assessments and identifying areas for improvement in financial controls, operational processes, and compliance.
- Conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures.
- Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Providing recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Leading and supervising the internal audit team.
Qualifications and Experience: To be eligible for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
- ACCA or CA qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in internal auditing or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, best practices, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
