Job Description: Pakistan Television Corporation Limited (PTV) is inviting applications for the position of Associate Engineer. This is a temporary job opportunity based in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan.

Vacancy:

• Associate Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects related to television broadcasting.
• Operate and maintain technical equipment, including cameras, audio systems, video editing tools, and transmission equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure the proper functioning of broadcasting equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth execution of live broadcasts and recorded programs.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of technical equipment for various broadcasting activities.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while handling equipment and performing tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in the broadcasting industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum education qualification of DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in a relevant field.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and concepts related to television broadcasting.
• Familiarity with technical equipment used in broadcasting, such as cameras, audio systems, and video editing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address technical issues promptly.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills to convey information and instructions clearly.
• Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
