Job Description: Various Positions at Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), Islamabad
Description: Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Islamabad has announced multiple job vacancies for the year 2023. PCSIR is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill various positions including driver, naib qasid, LDC, scientific officer, and engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driver: Safely operate PCSIR vehicles for transportation of staff, officials, and goods. Follow traffic rules and regulations, maintain cleanliness and timely maintenance of the vehicle.
- Naib Qasid: Provide support in day-to-day office tasks, such as handling and delivering files, making photocopies, running errands, and maintaining cleanliness in the office premises.
- LDC (Lower Division Clerk): Perform clerical tasks including data entry, record keeping, file management, and assisting with administrative tasks. Assist with typing, drafting, and preparing official documents.
- Scientific Officer: Conduct scientific research, experiments, and analysis in relevant field, and provide technical expertise. Prepare research reports, analyze data, and contribute to scientific publications.
- Engineer: Plan, design, and oversee engineering projects, including construction, maintenance, and operations. Provide technical guidance and support, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- For driver and naib qasid: Middle or Matric education with relevant experience.
- For LDC: Matric or Bachelor's education with strong clerical skills, computer literacy, and relevant experience.
- For scientific officer: Master's or MPhil/PhD degree in relevant field from a recognized institution, along with relevant experience.
- For engineer: Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering field from a recognized institution, along with relevant experience.
