Job Description: Water Management & Irrigation Department in Gilgit is currently inviting applications for various positions. This is a great opportunity to join a government organization and contribute to the development and management of water resources in Gilgit Baltistan.
- Accountant: The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis. They will ensure compliance with financial regulations and manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Dispatcher: As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching resources, such as vehicles and personnel, to various locations. You will maintain communication with field staff and ensure efficient deployment of resources.
- Chowkidar: The Chowkidar will be responsible for ensuring the security of the premises and monitoring access to the facility. They will patrol the area, report any suspicious activities, and assist with maintaining a safe environment.
- Assistant Engineer Civil: The Assistant Engineer Civil will assist in planning, designing, and implementing civil engineering projects related to water management and irrigation. They will assist senior engineers in project management and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Executive Engineer: The Executive Engineer will oversee and manage engineering projects related to water management and irrigation. They will coordinate with stakeholders, supervise project activities, and ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines.
- Machine Operator: The Machine Operator will operate and maintain various machines and equipment used in water management and irrigation projects. They will ensure proper functioning, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Assistant Executive Engineer: The Assistant Executive Engineer will provide technical support to senior engineers in planning and executing water management and irrigation projects. They will assist in project design, data analysis, and preparation of project reports.
- Draftsman: The Draftsman will prepare technical drawings and plans for water management and irrigation projects. They will utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings.
- Sweeper: The Sweeper will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the premises. They will sweep, mop, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Driver: The Driver will operate vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials to project sites. They will ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods and maintain vehicle maintenance records.
- UIX: The UIX position involves responsibilities related to user interface design and development in the context of water management and irrigation projects. Specific skills and qualifications related to UIX design will be required.
- Assistant Executive Engineer EM: The Assistant Executive Engineer EM will provide engineering support in electrical and mechanical aspects of water management and irrigation projects. They will assist in project planning, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Naib Qasid: The Naib Qasid will perform general office tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and delivering documents. They will assist in day-to-day office operations and provide support to other staff members as needed.
- Assistant Quantity Surveyor Civil: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Civil will assist in quantity estimation, cost control, and budgeting for civil engineering projects. They will work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure accurate project cost management.
- Surveyor Civil: The Surveyor Civil will be responsible for conducting surveys, measurements, and mapping of land and infrastructure for water management and irrigation projects. They will use surveying instruments and software to collect and analyze data.
