Job Description:
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Director. This is a temporary position, based in Islamabad, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the organization in achieving its objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis on various topics related to securities and exchange regulations
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and disclosures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conducting investigations and audits to identify and address potential violations of securities and exchange regulations
- Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to securities and exchange regulations
- Providing guidance and support to stakeholders regarding compliance with securities and exchange regulations
- Managing and supervising staff members in the department
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or other related fields
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or other relevant qualifications
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
