The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is seeking applications for the position of Procurement Specialist. This is a full-time job based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in procurement and contract management.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement plans and strategies, conducting market research, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids and proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. They will also ensure compliance with FBR's procurement policies, procedures and regulations.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They should also have knowledge of procurement software and tools, and be familiar with local and international procurement regulations.
