Description: Gujranwala Fixed Communication Signal Company, a government organization responsible for providing communication services, is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Sanitary Workers. This is an opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan.
As a Sanitary Worker, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises. You will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting designated areas. Additionally, you may be required to assist in waste management and maintaining the overall tidiness of the surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting designated areas.
- Waste Management: Assist in waste management by collecting and disposing of trash, segregating recyclable materials, and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, replenish supplies, and ensure a clean and hygienic environment for users.
- Equipment and Supplies: Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Compliance with Safety Guidelines: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance issues, security concerns, or incidents to the relevant authority promptly. Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum education requirement is Primary/Middle/Matriculation.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. Fresh candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks related to cleaning and maintenance.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
