Job Description:

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking applications from highly motivated and skilled professionals to fill the position of Joint Director Electronics. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of electronic systems and equipment used for navigation, communication, surveillance, and other air traffic control functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and upgrade electronic systems and equipment used for air traffic control functions
Plan and coordinate the implementation of new electronic systems and equipment
Oversee the testing, evaluation, and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the use of electronic systems and equipment
Provide technical support to staff and stakeholders on matters related to electronic systems and equipment
Manage a team of technical staff and provide leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality performance
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment
Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic systems and equipment used for air traffic control functions
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
