Job Description: Professor of Geology at University of Peshawar
The University of Peshawar is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Professor of Geology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of geology, as well as mentoring students and contributing to the academic community.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in geology
- Conduct research in the field of geology and publish findings in academic journals
- Supervise and mentor graduate students
- Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities related to geology
Requirements:
- A PhD in geology or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching and research experience
- A strong record of research publications in high impact academic journals
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate level
- Knowledge and experience with various geology research methods and technologies
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
This is a full-time position with an expected last date of March 31, 2023. The successful candidate will be based at our Peshawar campus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
