Welcome to the Upper Western Bar Division Thengi, a department under the Irrigation Department of Punjab. We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill the following vacancies on a temporary basis:
- Regulation Beldar: As a Regulation Beldar, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of the irrigation system. Your duties may include regulating water flow, inspecting and repairing canal structures, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the irrigation network. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Beldar: As a Beldar, your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the construction and maintenance of canal structures and embankments. You will be involved in tasks such as digging, leveling, and clearing vegetation. This role requires manual labor and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Seasonal Gauge Reader: As a Seasonal Gauge Reader, you will be responsible for monitoring water levels in canals and rivers. Your duties will involve regularly measuring and recording water levels using appropriate tools and equipment. Attention to detail and basic mathematical skills are essential for this role.
- Driver: The position of Driver requires operating vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials as required by the department. You will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and ensuring its proper functioning. A valid driver's license and good driving skills are necessary for this role.
