Position: Hostel Attendant, Khakrob, Sweeper, Hostel Mess Worker

Responsibilities: As a member of the support staff, your responsibilities will vary based on the specific role you are assigned. The following are general responsibilities for each position:

1. Hostel Attendant:
   • Assisting in the management and maintenance of the university hostel facilities.
   • Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the hostel premises.
   • Assisting students with any concerns or issues related to the hostel.
2. Khakrob:
   • Performing cleaning and maintenance duties in designated areas.
   • Sweeping, mopping, and dusting floors and surfaces.
   • Collecting and disposing of waste properly.
3. Sweeper:
   • Keeping the university premises clean and free from litter.
   • Sweeping and mopping floors, corridors, and common areas.
   • Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of garbage.
4. Hostel Mess Worker:
   • Assisting in food preparation and serving meals in the hostel mess.
   • Cleaning and maintaining the mess area.
   • Assisting with inventory management and stock control.

Requirements:

• Education: For the positions of Hostel Attendant, Khakrob, and Sweeper, a minimum of primary education is required. For the Hostel Mess Worker position, a matriculation certificate is required.
• Job Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Skills and Competencies: Good communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a strong work ethic are essential for these positions. Physical fitness and the ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently are required.
