Description: Irrigation Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is currently accepting applications for the positions of Driver and LTV Driver. Title: Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operating department vehicles and transporting goods and personnel to designated locations.
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Following the instructions and directions provided by supervisors.
Title: LTV Driver Responsibilities:
- Driving light transport vehicles (LTVs) to transport goods and personnel.
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials and passengers.
- Conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Reporting any vehicle issues or accidents to the concerned authorities.
- Following instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Candidates for both positions should have at least a Matriculation (10th-grade) level of education.
- A valid driving license for the respective vehicle category (Driver or LTV Driver) is required.
- Relevant driving experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
