Description: The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, a prestigious government organization in the field of strategic studies, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Director. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and guiding the overall operations of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic vision for the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, aligning with its mission and objectives.
- Research and Development: Promote and support research initiatives, ensuring the generation of high-quality, impactful research outputs that contribute to national and international discourse on strategic studies.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage the institute's resources, including budget, staff, and facilities, to ensure smooth operations and optimal utilization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with government agencies, academic institutions, think tanks, and other relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration, partnerships, and knowledge sharing.
- Policy Formulation: Provide expert advice and recommendations to government bodies on strategic issues, contributing to the development of national policies and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's, MPhil, or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as strategic studies, international relations, political science, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in strategic studies, policy development, or related fields, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of successful project management, research, and publication in the field of strategic studies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of national and international strategic issues, geopolitical dynamics, and security challenges.
