• Asami (Position): HR Consultant (Individual). Yeh aik saal ke fixed contract par mabni job hai.

• Taleem (Education): MBA ya Master's degree kisi mutaliqa field mein jo HEC-recognized ya International institution se ho.

• Tajurba (Experience):

  • Kam az kam 20 saal ka post-qualification experience ho baray industrial units (Pakistan ya abroad) mein strategic HR operations sambhalne ka.

  • Kam az kam 5 se 8 saal ka experience Public Sector Organizations ya SOEs mein Functional Head/Leadership role ka hona zaroori hai jahan staff ki tadad kam az kam 2000 ya us se zyada ho.

  • Mining/Energy Sector ke candidates ko tarzeeh di jaye gi. Administration, Supply Chain, ya Industrial Relations ka cross-functional experience bohot faide mand hoga.

• Umar ki Hadd (Age Limit): Application jama karwane ki aakhri tareekh tak zyada se zyada 65 saal (Maximum).

Overview

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a premier state-owned enterprise responsible for the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals. Operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, PMDC invites online applications for a highly qualified professional to serve as an HR Consultant (Individual) on a fixed-term contract basis for one year.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: MBA or a Master’s degree in a related field from an HEC-recognized or reputable international institution.

• Overall Experience: Minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in managing strategic HR operations within large-scale industrial units in Pakistan or abroad.

• Leadership Experience: Essential requirement of 5 to 8 years in a Functional Head or Leadership role within Public Sector Organizations/SOEs of Pakistan, managing a total organizational headcount of 2,000 or more employees.

• Sector Preference: Candidates with explicit background in the Mining/Energy Sector are preferred. Additional cross-functional experience in Administration, Supply Chain, or Industrial Relations is highly preferable.

• Skills: Strong proficiency in structural restructuring, dealing with CBA and Labor Unions, talent management systems, succession planning, compensation frameworks, and HR governance.

Terms of Reference (TORs)

The selected consultant will be expected to:

• Support the development and execution of the corporate Human Resource Strategy.

• Direct organizational restructuring and workforce optimization initiatives.

• Advise management on industrial relations, collective bargaining, and trade union engagements.

• Design and recommend competitive compensation, benefits, and employee recognition frameworks.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO/MD and Board on human capital planning and change management.
