• Tajurba (Experience): Kam az kam 4 saal ka banking experience lazmi hai. Is mein se kam az kam 2 saal Bank ya DFI ya Mutual Fund ya Brokerage House ke Treasury function mein hona lazmi hai.

Overview

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), "The Nation's Bank", is one of the leading and largest financial institutions in the country. To drive its growth strategy in the Treasury & Capital Markets division, NBP is seeking a talented, dedicated, and experienced professional for the specialized role of Equity Dealer. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team focused on portfolio optimization and market strategy execution within a performance-driven contractual framework.

Requirements & Qualifications

Academic Benchmarks

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent degree from a local or international university, college, or institution officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

• Candidates holding a Master’s degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, or Business will be preferred.

Professional Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of standard banking experience is mandatory.

• Within this tenure, at least 2 years must be dedicated core experience within the Treasury function of a recognized Bank, DFI, Mutual Fund, or Brokerage House.

Core Skills & Mandatory Knowledge

Candidates must demonstrate the following competencies:

• Excellent analytical and equity execution skills.

• Proven capacity as a strong team player with an adaptive collaborative mindset.

• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word, Excel, and Power Point).

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical conversance with relevant regulatory guidelines governing equity markets and financial institutions.

Outline of Main Duties & Responsibilities

The candidate will execute various pivotal functions within the Portfolio Management Wing, which include, but are not limited to:

• Compile daily trading reports, execution summaries, and strategic market updates for portfolio management review.

• Facilitate coordination among TROPS (Treasury Operations), brokers, and relevant stakeholder entities to ensure frictionless, timely trade execution and final settlement.

• Cultivate and sustain constructive professional relationships with counterparties, including Middle Office, brokerage houses, and TOPS W.

• Proactively identify and capitalize on emerging trading opportunities within the broader equity market spectrum, executing trades strictly within allocated limits and in close liaison/coordination with the portfolio manager and Divisional Head EMD.

• Strive to achieve or exceed predefined budgeted trading and capital gains targets as assigned by the Divisional Head EMD.

• Efficiently handle all aspects of audit and compliance matters relative to daily trading activity.

• Strictly adhere to and enforce all risk protocols, internal operational mandates, and regulatory limits/instructions while performing any trading activities.

General Terms & Conditions

• Contract Terms: Appointments are contractual for an initial tenure of three (03) years, renewable at the absolute discretion of NBP Management based on performance.
