• Idara (Company): Suba Sindh ke ek Sarkari Shobay (Government Department) mein khalisatan aarzi buniyaad par Law Officer ki bharti ki ja rahi hai.

• Asami (Position): Law Officer (Kul Tadad: 01).

• Domicile: Umeedwar ke paas Suba Sindh ka domicile hona lazmi hai.

• Umar ki Hadd (Age Limit): 1 July 2026 tak kam az kam 25 saal aur ziyada se ziyada 40 saal.

• Taleem aur Tajurba (Qualification & Experience):

  • HEC se tasdeeq shuda university se LLB ya LLM ki degree ya Barrister-at-Law ki professional qualification. Ghair-mulki degree ki surat mein HEC ka equality certificate lazmi hai.

  • Sindh Bar Council mein registered advocate hona aur High Court mein kam az kam 3 saal azadana advocacy (wakalatt) ka tajurba.

  • Aeen-e-Pakistan, aam kawanat, aur English zuban par mukammal uboor. Legal drafting, written statements, CPLAs, aur references tayar karne ki maharat.

  • Federal aur Provincial financial laws ka ilm rakhne walon ko tarjeeh di jaye gi.

Overview

Applications are invited from professional and dynamic individuals possessing a domicile of Sindh Province for a specialized legal position. The appointment is purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a period of one (01) year, under a specific government sector department of Sindh.

Requirements & Qualifications

Position & Academic Eligibility

• Position Title: Law Officer

• Number of Positions: 01

• Required Education: LLB or LLM degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), or a Barrister-at-Law qualification. Candidates with foreign academic credentials must present an equivalent certificate issued by HEC.

• Age Bracket: Minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years of age as of July 1, 2026.

Professional Experience & Skills

• Bar Enrollment: Must be duly registered as an advocate with the Sindh Bar Council.

• Court Experience: Minimum of 3 years of active and independent legal practice/advocacy experience in the High Court.

• Legal Competence: Comprehensive knowledge of the Constitution of Pakistan, general laws, rules, and regulations. Complete fluency and proficiency in the English language are mandatory.

• Core Tasks Expertise: Outstanding skills in legal drafting, written arguments, written statements, CAs, PWCs, miscellaneous applications, CPLAs, and references. Adept at reviewing contracts, agreements, and managing court cases/scheduling.

• Preferred Skills: Candidates with specialized proficiency in Federal and Provincial Financial Laws will be given additional preference.

Terms & Conditions

• Contract Framework: This is a full-time, purely temporary position initially for a contract period of 01 year. It can be extended based on performance/requirements, but the post will not be converted into a regular or permanent job position.

• Posting Location: The selected professional can be posted anywhere in Sindh, though the core place of appointment is highly expected to be Karachi.

• In-Service Candidates: Applicants currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must submit their applications through the proper departmental channel.

• Selection & Expenses: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the exact eligibility criteria will be called for the written test/interview. No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided.
