• Company/Idara: Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC). Pakistan ka aik bara public sector utility idara jo Karachi ke logo ko pani aur sewerage ki sahoolat deta hai.

• Asami (Position): Deputy Managers (Operations). Yeh log Town aur Division level par primary focal person ke taur par kaam karenge.

• Taleem (Education): Civil Engineering mein Bachelor's degree hona lazmi hai. Agar mutaliqa subject mein Masters degree ho to usay tarzeeh (preference) di jaye gi.

• Tajurba (Experience): Water management, hydraulic structures, aur sewerage ke kaamo mein kam az kam 8 se 10 saal ka experience hona zaroori hai. Candidates ko water infrastructure aur RCC designs banana aana chahiye. KW&SC, WASAs, ya PHED ka pehle ka tajurba rakhne walo ko tarzeeh di jaye gi.

• Umar ki Hadd (Age Limit): Zyada se zyada 45 saal.

• Maharat (Skills): Strong leadership, community mobilization, conflict resolution, aur GIS, MS Excel aur mobile data collection ki samajh boojh honi chahiye.

• Salary Package: Market ke mutabiq behtareen (market-based) compensation package diya jaye ga.

• Khas Note: KW&SC gender diversity ko tarzeeh deta hai, is liye khawateen (women) ko apply karne ke liye hosla afzai ki jati hai.

Overview

Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), Pakistan's leading public sector utility, is looking for talented operations engineers to work in the capacity of Deputy Managers (Operations). Enacted under the KW&SC Act 2023, the organization is transforming into a performance-based corporate environment. The selected professionals will manage water and sewerage services, acting as primary focal persons at the Town and Division levels to manage municipal operations and engage with community stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. A Master's degree in a relevant field will be preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of professional experience in water management, hydraulic structures, and sewerage-related planning and execution. Prior work history with KW&SC, WASAs, or PHED services is highly advantageous.

• Technical Skills: Competency in designing water infrastructure, Reinforced Concrete (RCC) designs, quality assurance engineering, and quantity surveying.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.

• Competencies: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution capabilities. Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), basic MS Excel, and mobile-based data collection methods is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical input for operational plans and execution strategies.

• Supervise daily water supply and sewerage network deliveries, including pipeline networks.

• Oversee maintenance of existing networks, resolving weak or faulty system segments.

• Digitalize and manage town/divisional service profiles on the official IT portal.

• Handle public complaints, coordinate with administrative district authorities, and organize water conservation campaigns.

• Submit weekly action reports to the COO and monthly progress logs to the CEO of KW&SC.

General Terms & Conditions

• Appointments are entirely contract-based for an initial period of 3 years, subject to extensions based on individual KPIs.

• Government or departmental candidates must apply through the proper channel with an official No Objection Certificate (NOC).
